Challenges for the New World

COVID-19 doesn’t seem to be controllable and we are learning to get ourselves prepared to survive in this new world. The news of Bollywood stars being tested positive doesn’t leave much hope for common people. We always thought that affluent people with better medical facilities might not contract diseases, but news of Mr. Amitabh Bacchan proved that COVID-19 doesn’t seem to spare anyone. Incessant monsoon rains in Mumbai is not allowing us to distinguish the reasons for deaths; is it COVID-19 or is it another disease as an outcome of the monsoon?

Living quarantined is not providing much of a solution. The economy is globally slowing down, and we children are more bothered about our future. It’s been four months since I stepped out of my home. We are confined to the digital world now. It is a challenge to manage oneself at times. It is tiring for students who learn more when they are at school. The hustle-bustle of being in the classroom with your friends teaches you more than you can learn at home at times.

The motto now is to adapt oneself to the new way of living.
