Ms. Chloe Vasquez

She/ her

Originally from Texas, USA, Chloe studied economics and political science at Macalester College, Minnesota. Inspired by her mother’s survival of a venomous pit viper bite in 2020, she is now on a 12-month fellowship across Southern Asia, Africa, and South America, studying antivenom access and snakebite mitigation. Her focus is on improving antivenom supply, pricing, clinician knowledge, and snakebite prevention through economics and policy.

Mr. Eduardo Cardoso

Eduardo Cardoso is a dedicated professional in the Humanitarian, Development, and Peace Nexus with experience at international organizations like the European Commission in Brussels. He co-leads SAFER ODISHA, an initiative protecting rural Odisha’s agriculture from climate change by empowering communities and tackling food insecurity. With a background in International Political and Economic Studies, his work focuses on climate change’s impact on developing economies, driving sustainable solutions and global change.

Ms. Giulia Cristiana

She/ her

Giulia is a Leicester Economics graduate and the founder of the Sustainable Leadership Forum, where she examines the links between macroeconomics and sustainable development. As Vice-President of the forum, she leads initiatives on plastic awareness, addressing its effects on human and environmental health. Through her work with ADN, Giulia highlights the critical issue of unregulated microplastic accumulation in the Global South and its consequences.

Mr. Yunes Abou El Wafa

He/ him

Yunes is a postgraduate student in Humanitarian Action at University College Dublin, especially interested in localised disaster response approaches. He co-leads SAFER ODISHA, a project focusing on building community-led climate resilience in rural Odisha, India. With a degree in Rescue Engineering, he has expertise in civil protection and disaster preparedness, particularly in emergency water supply systems in Germany.
