We are pleased to share that we hosted a webinar titled “Strategies to Reduce Avoidable Snakebite Deaths” on the occasion of IAD4AD 2025. The session was scheduled for Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM IST.

Priyanka Kadam is the founder of Snakebite Healing & Education Society (SHE-INDIA.ORG), a national-level civil society aimed at preventing and controlling snakebites.
Mr. Snehendu Koner

Mr. Koner is the Clinical Operations Lead at Auriga Research (Arbro Pharma Group), India, with over 19 years of expertise in global clinical operations, resource optimization, and SLA delivery.
Dr. Badal Kumar Sahu

Dr. Badal Kumar Sahu, Assistant Professor in the Department of General Medicine at NRSMCH, Kolkata, is a life member of IAP, API, and RSSDI, with 25 years of clinical experience and 19 years of government service in West Bengal.
Dr. Manish Ranjan

Dr. Manish Ranjan, Vice President – Corporate at Arbro Pharmaceuticals Private Limited and Auriga Research Private Limited, plays a key role in driving corporate strategies and research initiatives.
Prof. Nibedita Ray-Bennett

Nibedita is a Professor of Risk Management based at the University of Leicester’s School of Business and the Founding President of the Avoidable Deaths Network.
Mr. Umar Abdullahi

Abdullahi is an expert in the field of civil aviation, with 20 years of experience. He possesses a global certification from ACI-ICAO as an Airport Safety Professional (ASP). He also lends his support to the execution of the ADN’s IAD4AD Strategy
Dr. Saswata Banerjee

Dr. Saswata Banerjee, Head of Medical Affairs for Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Haematology, Oncology, and Wound Care at BSV Limited, is a medical doctor trained in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine. He has six years of clinical experience in various super specialty hospitals in Kolkata.
Dr. Pratyush P. Mohapatra

Pratyush P. Mohapatra is a Scientist-E in Zoological Survey of India, Kolkata. He does research in Animal Communications, Ecology and Zoology. and is now in-charge of the largest and oldest collection of reptile specimens at the National Zoological Collection of ZS.
Dr. Dayal Bandhu Majumdar

Dr. Dayal Bandhu Majumdar, Senior Medical Officer at CNMC&H, is the WB State Resource Person for Snakebite Training and a Technical Advisor for ICMR.
Ms. Chloe Vasquez

Chloe Vasquez, a health economist and Watson Snakebite Research Fellow, is also an Avoidable Death Network Future Leader, dedicated to advancing research and strategies for reducing avoidable deaths.
