Regional Coordinator: Anuradha
Co-founder and Head of Programs at Doers, Anuradha is a humanitarian professional specializing in capacity development for disaster preparedness, with a focus on Mental Health & Psychosocial Support, Advanced Life Support, and other aspects of Disaster Risk Reduction. With over 16 years of experience in education, training, and administration, she leads the design and management of training programs, projects, and other programs at Doers. Additionally, Anuradha is serving as a senior Visiting Faculty at various state-level training institutions. She is currently pursuing a fellowship, ‘Mental Health Training Program (MHTP)’ offered by Ummeed – Child Development Centre in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Anuradha is also a recipient of the ‘Sehyogi Fellowship’ on Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) from iCALL Psychosocial Helpline, managed by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, and Americares India Foundation. Her accolades include the Himachal Pradesh Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Leadership Award 2018 and being a finalist in the UNDRR WIN DRR Leadership Awards 2022 in the Excellence Category. Anuradha holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies, a specialized Degree in Education, and also possesses a Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Management. Besides this, she is also pursuing M.Sc. in Applied Psychology.
