Intern: Ms. Kumiko Fukuromoto
A current student studying a BA degree at Kansai University, Japan. She is expected to graduate in March 2022. She is studying natural and social disasters from various perspectives, as well as conducting research that focuses on disaster education. Additionally, she participates in environmental conservation activities for lakes in Japan and fundraising activities for international corporations. Previously, she undertook work experience on marketing in Indonesia to learn about marketing strategies for disaster support. She has experience of leading a marketing project team of up to 30 people. Kumiko’s research interests involve exploring the relationship between disaster psychology and disaster prevention, as well as artificial intelligence. She believes that the number of disaster deaths can be reduced by using artificial intelligence.
