Intern: Ms. Rwittambhara Kashyap
A Bachelors student at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, India, and expected to graduate by 2020. She has field experience in diverse social projects under the livelihood sector. She has on-field work experience with differently-abled people and women from the economically weaker sections of the society. She was also a former intern at the International Planned Parenthood Federation South Asia Region, working for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). Furthermore, she wrote a research report probing into the status of women within Neo-Vaishnavism in Assam, India, which is sub-themed under Gender and Religion. Her research interest is to explore beyond the univocal interpretations of gender, development, and human rights theories. She strongly believes that an inclusive and sustainable form of development theory that is put into practice can contribute to beyond the immediate betterment of human societies in any setting.
